About Grabbit

Grabbit is a screenshot API built for developers and AI agents. You send a URL, Grabbit renders it in a real Chromium browser, and you get back a hosted PNG, JPEG, or WebP.

Why we built it

Agents need to see the web. A coding agent checking its own UI change, a research agent reading a chart, and a monitoring job diffing a pricing page all need a rendered image, not raw HTML. Running headless Chrome yourself means installing a browser in every sandbox, fighting cookie banners and lazy-loaded content, and getting blocked by sites that detect automation. Grabbit does that work once, behind one endpoint.

What you get

• A REST API documented in the API reference and an OpenAPI 3.1 spec.
• A hosted MCP server at mcp.grabbit.live, so Claude, Cursor, Codex, and other agents can call a grab tool directly.
• A one-line CLI: npx grabbit.live <url>.
• Flat pricing: $0.002 per live grab. $50 a year includes 25,000 grabs, and prepaid credits never reset monthly. Test keys are free.
