Why we built Grabbit
At Twilio we built APIs that let any developer place a phone call with one HTTP request. Nobody had to rent a phone line or learn telecom. We learned that the best API hides the hard infrastructure behind one call and one clear response.
The developers calling APIs today are often agents. A coding agent checks its own UI change, a research agent reads a chart, a monitoring job watches a pricing page. Each needs a rendered image, and getting one meant installing Chromium in every sandbox, fighting cookie banners and lazy-loaded content, and getting blocked by sites that detect automation.
Taking a screenshot should be as simple as placing a call.
So we built Grabbit. Send a URL, get back a hosted PNG, JPEG or WebP rendered in a real Chromium browser. It works as a REST API, a hosted MCP server your agent calls as a tool, and a one-line CLI.
What we believe
Agents are developers too.
An agent should get the same one-call API a developer gets, and find it the same way: an OpenAPI spec, an llms.txt, an MCP server and tool results it can read without parsing prose.
You pay for what you capture.
One flat rate: $0.002 per live grab. The $50 annual plan includes 25,000 grabs that do not reset every month, and test keys return free placeholders so you can build before you pay.

How we handle your data
We never store your raw API keys.
Keys are kept only as SHA-256 hashes and shown masked in the console. Traffic is encrypted in transit, and outbound webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256 so you can verify they came from us.
You know where your captures live.
Screenshots are served from public, unguessable URLs, so anyone with a link can open it. They stay until you delete them or ask us to.
We capture public pages only.
Every request passes an SSRF guard that blocks private and internal address ranges, so Grabbit cannot be pointed at your network or ours.
Your data is not for sale.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or send marketing email. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
